Lake Mead and Lake Mojave are excellent for water skiing, pleasure boating and jet skiing. The lakes are enormous so that you can find your own private spot. Make sure you mark your location as it is easy to get lost on the lake. Also, beware that bad weather can come upon the lake and the winds can create waves up to six feet tall. Being properly dressed, taking plenty of water and having lots of sunscreen is important since there is no shade on the lakes.
